Rococo is a precious style of art and synonymous with late Baroque. The wigs, powder, and those tinky instruments are in the foggy distance… Characterizations of that hot Rococoa are ornate, fluid, playful, curly queues… It could best be described as the Lisa Frank artwork of yesteryear. Maybe a little less fantasy. I happen to like it. It’s pretty and over-the-top and frivolous.
